Empower Young Creatives: Volunteer to Support Fashion Design Students
Join us for a powerful and inspiring Day of Service on Tuesday, April 15th and April 22nd, as we uplift the next generation of young fashion designers! Hosted by Please Don’t Die Black Men (PDDBM), this volunteer opportunity will support middle and high school students in our Fashion Design Afterschool Program as they finalize their designs for their upcoming Black History Month Fashion Show.
We’re inviting passionate, creative, and encouraging volunteers to join us in making a real impact. You don’t have to be a fashion expert — just someone who believes in the power of youth, art, and community.
What You’ll Be Doing:
Our students are designing original clothing pieces using MacBook Pros and Adobe Photoshop. Many are new to the program and need support understanding the elements and tools of Photoshop, like layering, cropping, using the pen tool, working…
